Sales & Use Tax Information

A Keepsakes Brand (DBA of AKB Enterprise LLC) is not required to, and does not, collect sales or use tax in all states. Your purchase may be subject to use tax unless it is specifically exempt from taxation.

Please be advised of the following:

• Tax Obligation: The purchase is not exempt from sales or use tax merely because it is made over the internet or by other remote means.

• Customer Responsibility: Many states require purchasers to (1) file a sales or use tax return at the end of the year reporting all taxable purchases that were not taxed by the retailer and (2) pay tax on those purchases.

• Reporting Requirements: In certain states, we may be required by law to provide you with an annual summary of your purchases and, in some cases, provide a report to your state’s Department of Revenue regarding your total purchase amounts.
