Note: Unlike the slate coasters on many other shops, our coasters do not have a black sealing finish on them. Sealing while aesthetically pops more, it prevents the slate from soaking up moisture and allows the moisture to spill on to your table, which is the opposite of what a coaster should do. Our Coasters have a natural finish, the etched design still looks very good, and the coaster works as a coaster should.
